Can a chronic but only stage 1 case of hepc influence arthritis and anemia? Can there be a form of arthritis that would cause bruises and anemia,as well as significant pain in certain joints and connective tissue?
Answer
It is difficult to figure out without seeing you, but in general joint pain is common in hep C but joint swelling or restiction of range of motion (the findings of arthritis) is uncommon. There is a condition associated with Hep c called cryoglobulinemia that can cause skin problems and anemia.
