I’ve got RA and tried rituximab. Got 1/3 of the way through the infusion and had a reation of wheezing/urticaria so it was D/C’ed. Would the same thing happen if I took abatacept?

Most infusion reactions are allergic type reactions that are specific to the drug. Some patients are allergic to all mouse proteins and thus are allergic all drugs that have mouse proteins examples inlcude Rituxan and Remicade. Orencia is a fully human molecule and thus I would not expect you to have a similar reaction
