Question
I have recently been diagnosed with arthritis in my shoulder and AC joint. I apperantly have had it for a while because it is very bad, anyhow my fingers have been tingling and been numb off and on for awhile now and I was wondering if arthritis can cause this to happen?
Answer
It sounds like you might have a pinched nerve. This can occur at the neck, shoulder, elbow, or wrist. Depending on the location, arthritis might be the cause. A nerve conduction test can help localize the pinched nerve.
