Question
I am not sure which type of arthritis I have. Past blood work and testing have shown no signs of rheumatoid. The top joints of my fingers are deformed with large bumps which are stiff and very painful. They are becoming more and more crooked every day. I also have osteporosis and am on meds.
Answer
Isolated deformities of the DIP joints (most distal joints of the hands) usually is osteoarthritis.
